Target audience

Any employee aiming to understand how to manage in-house conflicts using positive communications tools.

The educational goals of the training course

  • Improve mutual knowledge and understanding in view of better communications
  • Improve your understanding and ability to manage difficult situations in teams and organizations
  • Understand and try out positive communications tools, feedback and supervision

Duration and location of the training course

The training course will be held over 4 x 7h days (2 + 2) with 1 or 2 trainers depending on the number of participants.

The meeting schedule and location must be defined with the customer.

Training program

The detailed training program for the four days can be found below. Theory will be alternated with practical experience and an opportunity for participants to share their experiences. 

Day1

  • Presentation of the pathway
  • Co-construction of the working framework
  • Theoretical input:
    • Definition of a conflict
    • Analysis of a transaction
    • Appraisal & Feedback
    • Presentation of nonviolent communication
  • Role plays based on the following scenarios:
    • Nonviolent communication exercise based on actual experience
    • Cross-analyses of discussions and sharing of feelings
    • Educational feedback from trainers

Day 2

  • Sharing feedback on learning from the previous day and establishing foundations
  • Theoretical input:
    • Advanced nonviolent communication
    • Listening skills and empathy
    • Emotions and needs
    • Co-Dev Flash tool
  • Exercises based on the following scenarios:
    • Nonviolent communication role play
    • Codev Flash trials
    • Cross-analyses of discussions and sharing of feelings
    • Educational feedback from trainers
  • Discussions about training day 2:
    • Using Photolangage®
    • Educational feedback from trainers on the tools introduced and tried out by participants
  • Conclusion
    • Discussions about the learning process and participants’ feelings
    • Educational feedback from trainers on the tools introduced and tried out by participants

 

Day 3

  • Introduction to day 3
  • Sharing of past experiences gained between sessions
    • Analysis of practices
    • Learning
  • Theoretical input:
    • Co-Dev Flash tool and NVC foundations
    • Group supervision techniques
    • Mediation
  • Role play based on complementary theoretical contributions
  • Conclusion
    • Discussions about the learning process and participants’ opinions
    • Educational feedback from trainers on the tools introduced and tried out by participants

 

Day 4

  • Introduction to day 4
  • Sharing of past experiences gained between sessions
    • Analysis of practices
    • Learning
  • Theoretical input:
    • Tool foundations
    • The coach attitude approach
  • Role play & practical experience
  • Conclusion of the pathway:
    • Overview of the new skills acquired
    • Sharing of opinions
